Full day sightseeing trip by mini van

    Departure: As agreed

    Duration: approx. 7 hours

Enjoy a day tour exploring some of the most beautiful sights on Hvar island. From UNESCO protected heritage to historic landmarks, Hvar is a hotspot for those who like impressive history and culture, spectacular scenery and amazing food and drink!

The trip starts with a tour of the town of Hvar. Upon arriving to the city of Hvar, we will visitFortress Španjola, one of the most instagrammable places in Croatia, with a stunning panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea, town of Hvar and Paklinski islands. Afterwards, we will take a tour of the old town of Hvar, exploring its small cobble stone streets and hidden shops, as well as visit the Arsenal; the oldest communal theatre in Europe, built in 1612.

From Hvar town, we will take the old road towards the city of Stari Grad, making two stopovers, first at Vidikovac, perched on a hilltop right between Stari Grad and the city of Hvar. There, you can enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the island's north and south side, stretching all the way to island Vis and Brač.

The second stopover is at Malo and Velo Grablje, two of Hvar’s hidden inland gems with ancient stone houses with an amazing character and an affinity to the natural environment.

Next stop is Stari Grad, one of the oldest town in Croatia, dating back to 384 B.C. Accompanied by your guide you will walk around the streets of Stari Grad and enjoy its peacefulness. We recommend to visit Tvrdalj and the fish-pond of poet Petar Hektorović.

After Stari Grad we will depart to Vrboska, also known as Little Venice, where we will also have an hour to explore the town’s hidden corners.

After Vrboska we will follow a small road towards the famous 2,400-year-old Stari Grad Plain or Ager. Ager is a cultural landscape with the oldest trace of Greek parcelization in the Mediterranean, also a UNESCO World Heritage site.

In Ager we will enjoy wine and olive oil tasting, a definite must-do whilst on the island.

Dalmatian meat or fish peka can also be organized at agrotourizam Pharos in the middle of Ager at the request of the guest.

After the presentation and tasting we will depart back to Hvar city.
